I have a new job!

It is quite literally a miracle, guise. I have a new job! I am now a barmaid at the Blue Bell in Jesmond, and my first shift is tomorrow. Yay! I’m so excited. Going to wear my nice little Adventure Time earrings Michael bought me for Christmas for good luck. I also bought some high-waisted tan-coloured jeans from Topshop, windmill-shaped earrings, pencil-shaped earrings, and an elephant pendant from Claire’s Accessories ^^; got a bit carried away in my joy at having a job, but whatever (: I think tomorrow for work I’m going to wear my new jeans, and maybe my pink and white candy-striped shirt, and some kind of flats, probably my little elephant pendant too.

 On Friday I have my last lecture, then work again at 5, and I need to get my new piercing bar changed in the morning, too, maybe after my poetry tutorial meeting (: primarily this is now more of a list of things I need to do, so:

•  work, tomorrow, 2-8
• poetry tutorial meeting, 12.30, Friday
• poetry lecture, 2.30-4.00
• work, 5-8
• work, 10.15-2.15, Saturday
• work, 1.15-5.15, Sunday

Thus concludes my list of stuff I need to do. 

My So-Called Life and other things~

So. Recently I’ve been watching My So-Called Life, a 90s teen drama starring Claire Danes. Since it’s set in the 90s, there’s some pretty interesting fashion choices, plus a major obsession with the words ‘in my humble opinion’ in the first two episodes. Rayanne Graff is just awesome. Unfairly so. She dresses pretty 80s, with her long blonde crimped hair, and little ponytail. She favours checked shirts and colourful, long gypsy skirts and layering, probably with Doc Martens (I don’t remember seeing her feet). Rayanne is the epitome of cool in MSCL, and in that annoying way in which TV characters dress kookily, and they’re awesome, dresses how I either do sometimes dress, or would like to dress but I’m not a TV character so I’m not cool.
